What are the benefits of this treatment?

This treatment benefits the appearance and health of the skin of the back. Unfortunately multiple people suffer from occasional acne breakouts on their back. The area many times is neglected and not treated properly and the breakouts can worsen after exercise, sweating, and stress. Let the aestheticians  perform a back cleansing that will help start treating the area and they will recommend if any further treatments, including chemical peels are needed.

What does the treatment entail?

The back will be cleansed, steam will be used and manual extraction of comedones will be per- formed as necessary. A low level chemical peel will be applied to smooth blemishes and clear break outs. An oil free moisturizer will be massaged lightly for barrier protection.

How will I be after my treatment?

You will able to return to work after your treatment. A home regimen will be recommended to you for further improvement. Exercise, sweating, sun exposure directly after treatment is not recommended. Sun protection to the area is recommended. A series of 4 treatments every 2 weeks is recommended for optimal results. Patients on oral Vitamin A Therapy, Accutane/ Rocutan are contraindicated.
