It is a combination of procedures smaller than the classic facelift designed to correct the following problems:
Excess fat in the neck (double chin)
Excess skin
Vertical muscle bands
Horizontal neck wrinkles
Αρχικά το επιπλέον λίπος αφαιρείται μόνο με λιποαναρρόφηση με μια μικρή τομή 1cm κάτω από το σαγόνι. Εάν δεν υπάρχει αρχικά χαλάρωση του δέρματος μετά την λιποαναρρόφηση δεν απαιτείται αφαίρεση του δέρματος γιατί το δέρμα συρρικνώνεται μέσα στη νέα γωνίωση του λαιμού. Εάν υπάρχουν κάθετες μυικές χορδές αυτές εξαφανίζονται είτε με την λιποαναρρόφηση εάν είναι λεπτές είτε κάνοντας μια τομή στη ρυτίδα ακριβώς κάτω από το σαγόνι. Από αυτήν την προσπέλαση πετυχαίνουμε δύο πράγματα, αφενός εξαφανίζουμε τις μυϊκές χορδές συμπλησιάζοντας τες στο κέντρο του λαιμού και αφετέρου ανασηκώνοντας το δέρμα από τους μύες βελτιώνουμε τις οριζόντιες ρυτίδες του λαιμού.
If there is significant skin laxity, then to complete the lift, skin is removed through incisions made behind the ears.
What is the procedure?
Initially, excess fat is removed only through liposuction with a small 1cm incision under the chin. If there is no initial skin laxity after liposuction, skin removal is not required because the skin shrinks into the new neck angle. If there are vertical muscle bands, these disappear either with liposuction if they are thin or by making an incision in the crease just below the chin. Through this approach, we achieve two things: firstly, we eliminate the muscle bands by bringing them together at the center of the neck, and secondly, by lifting the skin from the muscles, we improve the horizontal neck wrinkles.

What about recovery?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and sedation and does not require an overnight stay at the clinic. Antibiotic pills and anti-inflammatory medication are administered for 24 hours. The procedure is not dangerous; if sutures are used, they are removed in one week. We apply neck bandaging for 2 days. Any bruising and swelling of the area subside within 8-10 days.
