Before the trip, a virtual consultation session can be arranged via Zoom or WhatsApp for initial communication with Dr. Stamatiou. This allows you to get to know him, discuss your aesthetic goals, and receive a comprehensive assessment in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Although this does not replace the medical examination required before surgery, it provides valuable information about our treatments and helps us gather initial information about your medical history and your wishes. In many cases, the necessary preoperative tests can be done in advance to facilitate the process.
The day before the surgery, you will be examined personally by Dr. Stamatiou and Dr. Diamandis for preoperative medical assessment, anesthesiological evaluation, and detailed instructions, as well as for signing the consent forms. Most procedures at the Interbalkan Medical Center are performed on an outpatient basis, which means that patients return to their hotel approximately 2–4 hours after surgery. In most cases, patients can eat and walk comfortably without needing to stay overnight or receive nursing support.
After the procedure, post-operative monitoring takes place at Dr. Stamatious’ clinic in Thessaloniki, ensuring continuity of care and excellent aesthetic results.
