What are its advantages?
These injections are a popular non-surgical treatment that can temporarily reduce or eliminate wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, on the crow’s feet, and on the neck.

What does its treatment involve?
The treatment consists of a few tiny injections and takes about 10-20 minutes to complete. No recovery time is needed, and you can return to your normal activities immediately.
What result should I expect?
When injected into the skin, it selectively paralyzes the movement of the nerves and muscles that cause expression lines. Within 7-10 days after the injection, the facial muscles to which it was applied will not be able to move and will therefore tend to relax, making the skin appear smooth and wrinkle-free. The muscles that were not injected will continue to contract normally and facial expressions will not be affected. Mr. Stamatis’ approach to treatment is conservative, aiming for a natural appearance without a “frozen” face. Although it is possible to “raise the eyebrows,” Dr. Stamatis does not recommend this in most cases. The result is a rejuvenated and more youthful appearance that lasts for 4-6 months.
What is it? Is it safe?
They are concentrated neuroproteins produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. This toxin has been used in medicine since 1980 to treat conditions such as strabismus and blepharospasm. Since 2002, it has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic treatments and, more recently, for migraines and excessive sweating. When used in the quantities applicable to cosmetic procedures, there are no side effects, Perhaps only slight bruising at the injection site. It is contraindicated in pregnancy or lactation or in individuals with neurogenic or muscular diseases.
